Email Notifications and Critical Email Delivery Updates

We’ve also released improvements to our email notification system:

Reduced Email Volume

• Channel-based filtering: We’ve reduced the number of direct emails for notifications that are already assigned to a specific channel (e.g., Server Health).
• Fallback logic: If no channel is assigned to a notification, it will fall back to the user/owner’s email. However, if a channel is assigned, the notification will be sent only to that channel and not to the user/owner’s inbox.

Auto-Unsuppression for Critical Emails

• Priority delivery: Important emails, such as authentication, subscription, team invitations, and verification alerts, will now be automatically unsuppressed. This ensures users receive essential communications even if their email address was previously flagged or suppressed (due to emails failing to deliver and bouncing back several times). 

PHP Updates Now Available for NGINX

Note: If your server runs on OpenLiteSpeed, RunCloud does not handle PHP version updates. However, once a PHP version update becomes available for OpenLiteSpeed, it should also be automatically available on your server(s).

Deleting a server or web application can sometimes leave DNS records behind. If that IP address (or target) is later reassigned, your domain could unexpectedly start pointing somewhere else – commonly referred to as dangling DNS and subdomain takeover.

RunCloud now gives you an option to automatically remove DNS records.

We’ve launched Web App Maintenance Mode, a new feature that lets you temporarily disable any web application without deleting it.

This makes it easy to perform development, debugging, migrations, or simply pause unused sites – all while keeping your files and configurations intact. 

What’s new

• Easily enable maintenance mode for any web application without removing it – all data and configurations will be preserved.
  
  
• Ideal for troubleshooting, maintenance windows, and development work.
  
  
• When ready, simply disable maintenance mode to bring the web application back online. 

This feature is exclusive to Business and Enterprise plans.
