Easily Transfer Resources from Your Personal Space to Your Workspace

We’re excited to announce that you can now easily transfer resources from your personal space to your workspace. Here’s how:

In your RunCloud settings, head to Manage Resources.

From there, choose the workspace you wish to transfer resources to and proceed by clicking Transfer.

You’ll then be prompted to select the resources you wish to transfer to your workspace:

Before finalizing the transfer, review your selected resources in the summary section. You'll need to accept the terms via the consent checkbox before initiating the transfer.

Once the transfer is complete, you can close the session and access your resources in the new workspace.

Before proceeding, please note:

  1. Transferred resources will no longer be accessible in your personal space.
  2. Resources can only be transferred back to your personal space individually (bulk transfer is not available)
  3. Servers transferred without their Atomic Deployment Projects will be disconnected. You'll need to reconnect the Atomic Deployment Project after transferring it to the same space as its parent server

Introducing API Analytics

As a workspace owner, you can now visit the analytics page to view your API usage, including metrics such as an all-time total of your API requests, the total requests you’ve made this month, and the total requests you’ve made today.

You also have the option to filter the data by month or user, allowing you to see specific API calls made during a particular month or using a specific team member’s API key(s).

And you can now also view logs for individual endpoints – with the ability to filter them by month or user, as well as ability to download the data in CSV format.

To allow your team members to create their own API keys, you’ll need to create a custom role that has the View API Key Page permission, as (for security reasons) none of the default roles include this permission.

Learn more about how to create & manage roles here.

Note: As a workspace owner, you have full access to view and manage the API data belonging to you and your team members. Team members can only view and manage API data associated with their API key(s).

Improvements

New: You can now set the proxy status for your domains to proxied on Cloudflare.

Improvements to Workspace Support Ticket Management & RunCloud Agent v2.9.3

We’ve shipped an enhancement to the process of opening a support ticket. When opening a ticket, you can now select which workspace you’d like to associate it with.

To enable team members to create support tickets in your workspace, grant them either the Super Admin or System Admin role, or create a custom role with this permission.

Workspace owners are automatically CC'd on all support tickets to maintain oversight.

Note: When selecting a workspace filter, an additional column will appear, displaying the name of the user who created each ticket.

RunCloud Agent v2.9.3

  • Improvement: Backup error handler now provides more detailed and expressive error messages for failed backups.
  • New: wp-cli v2.11.0
  • New: Optimized web app size calculation to minimize agent resource usage.

Note: This update will automatically apply to your server within 72 hours. If you do not receive the update within this timeframe, please contact our support team, and they will help you manually update your server(s).

Control Access to Your Workspace Notifications & Logs

The default Super Admin, System Admin, and Developer roles have access to all notifications & logs for your workspace.

We recommend granting users access to this permission only when absolutely necessary, as this will allow a user to view notifications and logs across all teams (including ones they are not a member of, as this is a global setting).

Permissions for default roles (ones automatically created for all workspaces) cannot be modified. Here’s how to control this setting when creating a new role:

Head to Role Management and click Add New Role.

From there, you’ll be taken through the process of creating your role. The Workspace Notifications and Activity Logs permissions can be found in the Danger Zone.

Note: These will allow someone with this permission to view notifications and activity logs that are not just specific to the teams that they are a member of.

PHP Updates (NGINX)

Note: If your server runs on OpenLiteSpeed, RunCloud does not handle PHP version updates. However, once a PHP version update becomes available for OpenLiteSpeed, it should also be automatically available on your server(s).
