  • Improvement: The email subject of the failed Let's Encrypt SSL notification will now display either the domain name or the web app name.

RunCloud Hub WordPress Plugin 1.4.4

  • Improved: Enable the Beta Tester version to notify you when a beta version becomes available.
  • Improved: Exclude server-side caching for the /wp-json Rest API endpoint.

If you still have an older version of the plugin installed and do not see an update notification in the WordPress dashboard, you can manually update it using the plugin ZIP file.

Cloudflare Dashboard and Cloudflare API Service Issues

Cloudflare is currently experiencing issues with its dashboard and API (view status page).

We've deployed a hotfix to prevent our panel from throwing 500 errors due to the downtime with Cloudflare's API. However, the domains and DNS integration via Cloudflare will appear empty in your RunCloud dashboard as they rely on receiving responses from the Cloudflare API, which is currently unavailable.

Cloudflare is well aware of the issue and is working on getting to the bottom of it as soon as possible. They have a good reputation for handling infrastructure-related issues diligently, including proper post-mortems. 

On behalf of Cloudflare, thank you for your patience & we understand dealing with downtime is never easy. If any websites you host for others are affected, this would be a good time to send over an email to let them know if their sites are down proactively.

  • New: Filter backup instances by status (active, failed, paused, archived).
  • New: Sort backup instances by label name, created at, and total backup size.
  • Improved: Updated backup instance overview layout to include the "last successful backup" information.
  • Fixed: Edit backup instance now redirects to the current backup instance overview page.

Atomic Deployment

  • Improved: Increased the limit of deployment scripts from 10 to 20.

Web Application Cloning

  • Fixed: Site authentication setting is now properly updated during cloning to a different server.

RunCloud Hub WordPress Plugin 1.4.3

  • Fixed: Error in WooCommerce Product Rest API when RunCloud Hub is enabled.
  • Fixed: Cloudflare integration (beta) fails to detect short domains (less than 4 characters).

  • Fixed: 1-Click WordPress Install fails in some cases when using the latest WP-CLI 2.8.1.

RunCloud has conducted safe testing on OpenLiteSpeed v1.7.18, which includes security updates to apply more strict request header validation and libmodsecurity v3.0.10 update.

Web Application Cloning

  • Fixed: Cloning failed due to the presence of an existing database user.

Server

  • Fixed: Server deletion could not be performed from the RunCloud panel in certain cases.

Backup

  • New: Backup Activity Logs now available for all users

Effective from October 11th, 2023, the Backup Activity Logs feature will start recording all backup activities within your RunCloud account.

This valuable information can be accessed in two convenient locations:

  1. Activity Logs under each individual backup instance provide a detailed history of backup activities specific to that instance.
  2. Activity Logs on the main Backup page give you a comprehensive overview of important events occurring at the account level. This includes events such as the creation or deletion of backup instances.
