What's new on NGINX 1.17.10?

Feature: "auth_delay" directive.
Delays processing of unauthorized requests with 401 response code to prevent timing attacks when access is limited by password, by the result of subrequest, or by JWT.

Additional Info

We have added support for few extensions (msgpack, FFI, memcache and igbinary) to PHP 7.2 onwards.

Note: It will take up to 24 hours to propagate this update to all RunCloud managed servers.

What's New:

Clone Web Application

  • One of our most awaited features has arrived! You can now clone your web application within the same server or to another server.
  • The feature can be found under the Tools menu inside your Web Application.
  • Pro Plan and Business Plan users can enjoy the full functionality of our Clone Web Application features.
  • For Basic plan, the clone web application is temporarily available until 1st June 2020 (subject to extension). You are only allowed to clone web applications on the same server.

WordPress Staging official release

  • Fixed bugs reported during the public beta phase.
  • Enhancement:
    - Users can select which tables they want to sync from staging to the production site.
    - User can select which post type they want to include during syncing.
    - User now has the option to enable/disable staging site authentication.
  • WordPress Staging is available to all paid plans; Basic Plan is limited to only one staging site.

Introducing RunCloud Hub plugin, improvement and rebrand from RunCache Purger plugin.

  • RunCloud Hub now supports exclusion settings and multisite. More customization options under the hood.
  • RunCloud Hub also now displays traffic stats inside your WordPress panel.
  • User can directly login to WordPress through RunCloud panel via magic login. The magic login feature is only available for Business plan.
  •  If you are using old version of RunCache, please remove it through RunCloud Hub (previously RunCache) under RunCloud Dashboard and reinstall for new RunCloud Hub Plugin.
  • If you are facing a cache issue, please change your cache key inside RunCloud Hub plugin on your WordPress Panel
  • RunCloud Hub plugin is available to all paid plans.

Other new improvements

  • Site authentication
    • User can use site authentication to their production site. This feature is available under Tools menu inside Web Application.
    • This feature is available to all paid plans.
  • ECDSA and ED25519 SSH key. 
    • RunCloud now supports ECDSA and ED25519 SSH key. Available to all plans.
  • RunCloud Agent updated to v2.3.3
    • It will take up to 24 hours to propagate RunCloud Agent update to all RunCloud managed servers.

Note: RunCloud Agent should be updated automatically on your server. But if your server still uses RunCloud Agent v2.2.8 and below, please contact our support.
